How does TIPA's work inform policymakers?

TIPA is firmly committed to generating actionable advanced intelligence on ground-level issues of importance to health care policy makers trying to cope with a swiftly changing health landscape. We have decades of experience at the leading edge of advances in practice transformation and health care delivery improvement. We support this commitment by:

  • Actively seeking out new models of care and providing mechanisms for testing and evaluating them in a representative open community--in advance of much of the nation;
  • Leadership that is actively involved in national and statewide technology and practice transformation efforts;
  • Commitment and support to external evaluation for verified results, including internal staff resources for research design and implementation and ongoing proactive maintenance of the HVPIx database, providing granular and aggregated intelligence on provider and practice demographics in the region;
  • Specific attention to addressing health disparities by including Federally Qualified Health Centers in all practice transformation/research and evaluation programs; and
  • Having dedicated internal staff to assist in practice transformation and subject matter expertise on physician-led transformation efforts.
