How do providers, patients and their caregivers experience overall care transformation? TIPA is committed to conducting research that measures stakeholder satisfaction of the health care delivery experience, focusing specifically on patient and providers. These measures are part of the overall evaluation of practice transformation. Our capabilities in this area include provider and patient recruitment, direct supervision and implementation of surveys, conducting semi-structured interviews and analysis of the data.
TIPA’s research in this area includes projects that measure patient experience of both the medical home and of advanced primary care with care coordination. In addition, our physician-experience measurement seeks to enhance understanding of provider satisfaction in the medical home context.
